The Luther Room is named after Calvin Luther who built the front of the Inn from 1841 when he moved in with his new wife Rebecca and their eight children. The room is often referred to as the Gold Room because of its rich golden hues.

Overlooking the massive columns of the portico, the Luther Room features a private bathroom, a queen-sized bed, and a closet with antique wallpaper.
